So, the databook does not say anything special about Yusuke’s mazoku form as Togashi didn’t write much about this subject in the manga. Given the fact the anime’s director said the final arc was a mix of the manga with an original script created by the animation staff ( interview here) and Togashi stated he didn’t mind the differences from the manga as he considers the anime a different story from his, I don’t take the anime too serious. In the manga, there isn’t this thing about him mixing youki and reiki and creating a golden energy like in the anime. Yusuke was never refereed to as a hanyou but as a full mazoku. I don’t see Yusuke as a han’you (half-youkai) as this particular specie was introduced in the series in volume 5 and the databook also talks about them. His heart was replaced by a “core” and Raizen’s genes were manifested in him fully. In the end, the human Yusuke died and reborn as a full youkai. On the other hand, Raizen calls Yusuke his son ^^. It’s funny how the child born from their relationship is just treated like “the child”, Raizen also called him/her only “the child”. ✜himimouryou: refers to youkai of the mountains and rivers.Raizen and kudakusushi never met again, but Yusuke Urameshi was born 44 generations after that child was born.” Raizen returned to the Demon World and kudakusushi gave birth to a child. He spent the night wooing her and made a pact…(note: it is referring to not eating humans anymore) Raizen, who was moving wildly as a jikininki² at that time, met a certain “food doctor” ( kudakusushi), it was love at first sight. “700 years ago, the Kamakura Period was filled with chimimouryou¹.
